Emagine IT Donation for
Philippine Typhoon Relief ‘a Huge Morale Boost!’

Philippine Red Cross Chairman Richard Gordon receives Emagine IT check from (left) NaFFAA Director Bing Branigin, and Virginia Beach residents Naomi and Roy Estaris, officers of the Council of United Filipinos of Tidewater (CUFOT).
At a brief ceremony held recently at a Philippine Red Cross center in Tacloban City, which suffered massive devastation following the worst storm in recorded history, Gordon accepted the donation from Bing Branigin, a director of the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA). In November, NaFFAA officers drew the attention of Emagine IT to the plight of typhoon victims and appealed for help.
“We are deeply grateful to the leaders of Emagine IT for responding promptly with compassion and generosity,” Branigin said. “Their action reflects the company’s commitment to charitable and humanitarian endeavors – values that strengthen and sustain our connection as human beings.”
As a professional services company, Emagine IT specializes in delivering innovative, cost conscious solutions to help commercial, federal, state and local governments achieve high performance efficiencies. Emagine IT also encourages its employees to donate time and resources to noble causes.

At the dinner event held at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., Philippine Ambassador Jose L. Cuisia Jr. accepted the check on behalf of NaFFAA from Emagine IT President Aamir Saleem and Chief Operating Officer Song Pak.

Emagine IT chose two other major philantrophic campaign events last year. The company was the proud sponsor of the American Heart Association’s 2013 Greater Washington Heart Walk. It also hosted the “Toys for Tots – Washington, D.C.” by collecting and distributing new toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate and needy children in the community.
